This past week saw our biggest herb harvest to date but small in comparison to what we hope to achieve in the near future. The Tikologo Permaculture Project is gearing towards herbal medicine production as one of our main income generators and we are starting to take important steps towards setting up our production systems. We have been collecting various medicinal herbs and plants like mad since day one and all of these are currently on trial in various positions throughout the property. As plants identify themselves as viable according to certain criteria they are earmarked for different positions and systems in the overall plan and slowly we are moving toward bigger and better production opportunities.
In this week’s pic you get a sneak peak at but a few herbs we are currently growing however watch this space as exciting things are coming in the next few seasons!
